Service Description: Community Points of Distribution - C-PODs are temporary locations where commodities are distributed directly to the public. C-POD supply and resupply requests are handled through OEM via county request. For safety, C-PODs are normally open 12 hours each day and are re-supplied at night. Through the EMPG program, Oregon Counties provided a minimum of three C-POD locations, along with latitude/longitude.

Layers: Description: Community Points of Distribution - C-PODs are temporary locations where commodities are distributed directly to the public. State staging areas are areas identified by the state for having the capability for supporting large aircraft (C-130 cargo plane minimum). Incident Support Bases and Forward Staging areas were derived from coordination between OEM and FEMA.
